Standards of excellence in care
Echo Elderly Care meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in senior care.
Compliance framework
Fire Safety Authorization (ISU)
Fire safety authorization issued by the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) for the specific designation of a center for elderly persons with reduced mobility — the building, evacuation routes, and fire-fighting equipment are authorized for residents who need assistance moving.
Accredited Social Services Provider
Accreditation certificate as a social services provider, attesting the right to deliver social services in Romania. Provider accreditation is the prerequisite for licensing each individual center.
Operating License (MMSS)
All Echo Elderly Care centers hold an operating license issued by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity (MMSS), under Law 197/2012, ensuring compliance with national quality standards.
Public Health Authorization (DSP)
Our centers hold the Public Health Directorate (DSP) authorization, certifying compliance with hygiene and public health standards: correct functional circuits, licensed medical office, medical waste management, and periodically inspected sanitary conditions.
Veterinary Sanitary Authorization (DSV)
Each center's in-house kitchen is authorized by the Sanitary-Veterinary Directorate (DSVSA) for food preparation and serving, following HACCP food-safety principles — from receiving raw ingredients to serving residents' meals.
GDPR Compliance
Protection of residents' and families' personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. Explicit consent, controlled access, and digital security.
Medical Protocols
Standardized medical protocols across the entire network, developed in accordance with national and European medical guidelines.
Staff Training & Certification
Continuous professional training programs, mandatory certifications for all medical and care staff, uniform competency standards.
Safety & Building Codes
Full compliance with fire safety regulations, building codes, and accessibility standards for persons with reduced mobility.
Per-center licenses
Each center in the Echo Elderly Care network holds its own licenses and authorizations, tailored to the specific services offered. Visit each center's page for details.
